Regent staff to cover 12k miles for health workers fundraiser
Tom ParryRegent Seven Seas Cruises’ UK team has pledged to cover almost 12,000 miles in 12 weeks to raise money to help health workers amid the coronavirus crisis.
The team’s 11,972.26-mile journey, the distance along the British coastline, will be clocked up by runs, walks and cycles near their homes and local parks.
Inspired by “the dedication and sacrifices made by those on the front line” during the Covid-19 pandemic, Regent staff are hoping to raise £2,000, with funds shared between the Murray Parish Trust and NHS Charities Together.
