Riviera releases six new tours for 2019
Edward RobertsonRiviera Travel has launched six new itineraries to Montenegro, Spain, Ireland, Italy, Sardinia and Jordan in their 2019 short haul programme, writes Holly Ford.
The river cruise operator’s new programme goes on sale on July 6 this year, with prices leading in at £849 per person for the seven-night Montenegro escorted tour.
The tour includes visits to various sites including the bay of Kotor and the city of Shkoder in Albania and highlights include wine tasting at Budva and a tour of the Royal Palace in Cetinje.
The eight-day guided tour around France and Spain will explore the Basque Country, La Rioja and Burgos.
It features guided tours of San Sebastian and the Pyrenees plus a trip to the Altamira caves and starts from £899.
In Italy, visitors can see Lake Trasimeno, Perugia and visit the Frasassi caves on the Heart of Italy, Umbria, Perugia and Assisi tour.
It features a wine tasting, a chocolate factory visit in Perugia and a trip to Isola Maggiore. Prices start at £899 for seven nights.
Riviera Travel has also updated tours to Italy, Madeira and Lake Como.
