Riviera Travel has sharpened its focus on remote workers by appointing Amanda Docherty as its first key account manager for homeworkers.
Docherty, who has held a variety of roles at the likes of Tui and Celebrity Cruises, will start on 8 April and will report to head of trade and partnerships Vicky Billing, focusing on giving homeworkers all the means to drive Riviera sales.
“We understand that homeworkers require a more tailored approach in terms of support and we believe this step will ensure they have all they need to learn more about Riviera and drive sales,” Billing said.
Docherty’s appointment comes as part of Riviera Travel’s trade team expansion, which saw Chris McCloskey and Lloyd Morris join respectively as key account manager for Scotland and Ireland and key account manager for the UK and Ireland.
“This is an exciting challenge at what is an equally exciting time for Riviera,” Docherty added. “I cannot wait to get started and begin working with our valued homeworking trade partners.”
