RwandAir is set to almost double the overall frequency of services from London, with daily non-stop flights to Kigali from 29 October.
The carrier announced on Tuesday (15 August) flights will take off from Heathrow each day at 8.30pm, landing in Rwanda the next morning at 7am, while Monday to Sunday services from Kigali will depart at 11.35pm and landing at 6.20am.
“The daily service from London will be operated by the airline’s fleet of Airbus A330 aircraft in a two-class configuration offering Business and Economy options,” RwandAir said. “The airline has one of the youngest fleets on the continent of Africa and has ambitious plans to double its 13 aircraft fleet over the next five years.”
RwandAir made the headlines in October last year when it announced it would stop operating flights to and from London via Brussels and instead launch four-times-weekly direct flights between the UK and Rwanda.
