New additions to Ryanair’s winter schedule from London will include flights to the Canaries, Italy, Finland and Croatia.
From Luton, the budget carrier will fly to Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria, Grenoble, Naples, Shannon and Turin, While from Stansted, it will operate to Helsinki, Tampere, Stockholm, Trapani, Treviso and Zagreb.
Additionally, Malaga will be served from Luton. In total, Ryanair will fly 142 routes from its London bases this winter.
It says the additions will create more than 500 new pilot, cabin crew and engineering roles in the south east.
Ryanair boss Michael O’Leary said the additions would help the carrier gear up for a return to pre-Covid levels of air travel in summer 2022.
O’Leary also reiterated his calls on Tuesday (31 August) for the UK government to scrap PCR testing for fully vaccinated arrivals and suspend Air Passenger Duty.
