Ryanair is to extend its Newquay-Stansted flight year-round from next month.
The London link will run twice-weekly from 17 December, with the route offering an alternative to Eastern Airways’ Gatwick flight.
Ryanair’s head of communications Jade Kirwan said: “We first introduced our Cornwall – London-Stansted route for summer 24, and having seen such strong demand, we decided to bring it back for the winter season too.”
The new services join Ryanair’s other current winter routes from Newquay to Alicante, Malaga, Faro and Dublin, the latter also served by Aer Lingus.
Ryanair said the additional routes would bring around 200,000 passengers a year to and from the airport and create more than 120 local jobs.
