Seabourn Venture has arrived in the UK for the first time ahead of three planned trade ship visits.
The first purpose-built expedition ship for the ultra-luxury cruise line made its maiden arrival at the Port of Tilbury on Wednesday morning (10 May).
Seabourn will introduce the vessel during several planned events, with the first set to take place on Thursday (11 May), when the ship will host a number of local travel advisor partners and media for a dinner and overnight stay.
In addition, ship visits for agents to preview Venture are also planned in Dublin on 16 May and in Leith on 24 May.
"The UK is a very important market for Seabourn, and we are honoured to be a brand of choice for vacation for many extraordinary guests from this region," said Natalya Leahy, president of Seabourn.
"Seabourn Venture is a state-of-the-art ship that combines Seabourn’s luxury elegance and style with full expedition capabilities."
On Friday (12 May), Venture will sail from Greenwich to Leith on a 12-day Lands of the Celts voyage, followed by an 11-day voyage to the Orkney and Shetland Islands on 24 May.
