Shearings has added 38 new UK holidays to its 2023 programme, bringing the firm’s portfolio for next year to more than 100 UK tours with more set to launch in the coming weeks.
The new five or eight-day tours either feature new destinations, a new itinerary, a new hotel, or have new attractions added. The coach operator will also include tours in Southend-on-Sea, Kingston-Upon-Hull and Darlington for the first time.
The Isle of Skye, Tobermory, Rochester and Blandford Forum have also been added. The trip to the Isle of Skye features a Scottish Highlands tour, with a full day excursion to Scotland’s second largest island.
Blandford Forum is a new optional excursion on the Weymouth, Subtropical Abbotsbury and Dorset Charms tour, while time to explore Rochester is included on the new Southend-on-Sea itinerary.
New attractions include an excursion to Brighton’s i360; a Call The Midwife tour visiting Chatham, where scenes from the TV show were filmed and an excursion to The Deep in Hull.
All tours include coach travel with local joining points, accommodation, breakfast, dinner and excursions, with prices starting at £239pp for a short break.
Leger Shearings Group head of retail sales, Ashley Dellow, said: "It seems the British public can’t get enough of their UK holidays – the overseas travel restrictions certainly created a taste for them and that shows no sign of slowing down.
"Our product team has been very busy creating new UK tours, and travel agents will find lots of new inspiration to sell to even their most avid repeat coach holiday fans."
