Trending Travel has appointed Kieran Shew to the newly created role of commercial director to help the business drive growth “through 2023 and beyond”.
Shew, who was previously commercial manager at Icelolly.com, will take up his new position in January.
He is rejoining the travel sector after spending time working as sales and marketing director for The Wimbledon Brewery Company.
Keith Herman, chief executive of Trending Travel, which specialises in working with digital influencers to drive engagement and sales, said Shew’s appointment was a “major step forward” for the company.
“He is an inspirational character and I have no doubt he will help us build some great new relationships with our specialist social media approach. I have known Kieran for many years and when the opportunity arose, we knew he would be the perfect fit,” said Herman.
