Swan Hellenic has confirmed the naming ceremony and launch of new expedition ship Diana will take place in Amsterdam later this year.
Bringing the line’s fleet to three following the launches of Minerva in November 2021 and Vega in July 2022, Diana will enter service on 4 May.
Operated by an onboard team of 141, the vessel will offer 192 guests accommodation in 96 staterooms and suites, making it Swan Hellenic’s biggest ship.
The vessel’s godmother and founder and chief executive of Valerie Wilson Travel, Valerie Ann Wilson, will lead the naming ceremony in the presence of Swan Hellenic senior management, local dignitaries, guests and the media.
Swan Hellenic chief executive, Andrea Zito, said: "We’re truly honoured to have Valerie as godmother to this very special new ship, considering her iconic status in the US travel industry and the importance of the US and worldwide markets for Swan Hellenic."
