Taiwan-based carrier Eva Air will host fam trips and invest in marketing and incentives to promote Thailand’s tourism.
The airline has partnered with Thailand’s tourism body to boost visitor numbers from key markets to the country.
As part of the partnership, the Tourism Authority of Thailand will help the airline develop passenger numbers with promotional codes and giveaways as well as fam trips for agents.
Eva Air and the tourism body will also work on developing joint advertising campaigns to showcase what the country can offer.
“By leveraging our extensive global network, we can help ensure that Thailand is permanently positioned on the international tourism map,” said Eva Air president Clay Sun.
The Taiwanese carrier operates daily flights between London Heathrow and Bangkok as well as services to Thai hotspots such as Koh Samui and Phuket with stops in the capital.
