Thomson Lakes & Mountains has integrated its distribution channels with Tui UK & Ireland allowing agents to book its Summer 2018 programme through its parent’s main website and contact centre.
The operator said the aim of the integration was to “further provide effortless customer experiences” and had been working to implement the change over the past nine months.
It added that the change had also included the designing of new web pages and launching training for contact centre and retail agents.
Thomson’s retail agents will have now Lakes & Mountains holiday product to choose from when they search on Thomson’s retail browser and later this year services such as a "manage my booking online" and "select your seat" functions will be added for Lakes & Mountains bookings.
Chris Logan, managing director said: “Lakes & Mountains destinations have a natural fit with the Thomson portfolio and fully integrating these holidays into the core programme will offer our customers and agents even more choice when searching for the perfect holiday.”
