Former Virgin Voyages vice-president of international sales Shane Lewis-Riley is to join Titan Travel and take up a newly created director of trade distribution role with the escorted touring specialist.
Lewis-Riley left the adults-only line last month after six years to "pursue new opportunities and challenges" and will now join Titan on 14 October.
He brings more than 20 years’ industry experience to his new role with Titan, including spells with P&O Cruises and Princess Cruises. He is also a former Carnival UK director of retail partnerships.
It follows the departure of Titan’s head of trade Hayley Morris, who will succeed Richard Forde at Newmarket Holidays as its head of trade sales and partnerships.
Titan said Lewis-Riley would play "a pivotal role" shaping the future of Titan’s trade strategy and would work closely with its existing trade partners, and seek to forge new ones.
He will also lead Titan’s team of key account managers across the UK to ensure agents get the service they need from the operator to sell its products effectively.
Andy Squirrell, Titan’s chief commercial officer, said: "We are delighted to welcome Shane, a trusted and experienced industry professional, into this newly created role at Titan.
"Shane will bring fresh ideas and a new perspective as we continue to innovate and strengthen our relationships with agents. Under his leadership, we’re confident that our trade distribution will reach new heights, and our dedicated key account managers will be even better equipped to support our valued partners across the UK."
Lewis-Riley added: "I’m thrilled to be joining such a well-established and respected brand in the escorted touring market at this pivotal moment, as we set out to elevate our approach with the trade.
"The strong partnerships Titan has built with the trade is integral to our continued success, and I’m eager to strengthen these relationships further, ensuring our trade partners receive the very best support through our unrivalled service and trade initiatives."
