Touchdown lifts pause on bookings from InteleTravel agents

James ChappleTravel trade discount platform Touchdown Travel Industry Services has started taking bookings from InteleTravel agents again.
InteleTravel managing director UK and Ireland, Tricia Handley-Hughes, on Wednesday (28 February) told TTG that Touchdown had temporarily paused bookings with InteleTravel agents.
The suspension related to InteleTravel agents sharing Touchdown’s trade-only rates with people outside of the industry who are ineligible for its discounts.
Handley-Hughes on Thursday (29 February) confirmed the two businesses had reached an agreement, adding the abuse extended to "a few isolated incidents".
"We don’t allow any abuse of rates or supplier policies and we moved quickly to deal with a few isolated incidents," said Handley-Hughes.
"We are always happy to work with our partners to ensure compliance and delighted this misunderstanding has been quickly resolved."
