Travel Counsellors has reported consecutive record sales days, surpassing £5 million in bookings twice this week alone.
Tuesday (9 January) and Wednesday (10 January) entered the agency’s top 10 best sales days in the company’s history.
The homeworking giant has made 14 bookings over £50,000 this month, while 26 TCs have achieved total sales of more than £100,000. One TC has made an £84,000 booking this month.
TC Heather Lee, who has 24 years’ experience, said: “I have already achieved 50% of my last January sales in the first week, with much more on my desk.
“I did six bookings alone on 7 January. I look forward to the rest of the peaks and organising more trips for my customers, creating memorable travel experiences for each and every one of them.”
Travel Counsellors global sales director Jim Eastwood added: “It’s great to see sales figures looking strong at the start of peaks, which underscores the pivotal role our community of travel entrepreneurs and support team colleagues play in meeting the heightened demand.
“Our network of over 2,000 Travel Counsellors globally have the ability to deliver exceptional service. We look forward to continuing to create even more highly personal and enriching travel experiences for our leisure customers and corporate clients.”
Currently, the top five most popular booking destinations are Spain, US, United Arab Emirates, Greece and the Maldives.
Eastwood added: “The sales align with the recent launch of the company’s multi-channel peaks marketing campaign, ‘We take care of everything’.
“Following one of the campaign’s adventure-focused emails, Alaska, Galapagos, and ski experiences emerged as the most engaged content with customers.”
