The Travel Network Group has made two “key” appointments to strengthen its operations and bolster its cruising expertise and offer to members.
Emily Sutton has been promoted to director of operations and will take a seat on the group board, while TTG 30 Under 30 alumnus Anna Perrott joins the consortium from dnata’s Travelbag brand as head of cruise.
Sutton joined TTNG in 2016 as operations manager and was later appointed head of operations.
In her new role, she will have overall responsibility throughout the consortium for operations, risk and trustees.
Her remit includes managing compliance for the group, insurance and Atol requirements, as well as relationships with key stakeholders such as merchant acquirers, foreign exchange providers, the CAA and banks.
Perrott, meanwhile, was head of cruise and touring for long-haul tailormade specialist Travelbag, and previously held roles with JTA, Flexicruise, Belleair Cruise and Cruise.co.uk.
She will assume responsibility for growing TTNG’s Woking-based cruise team and building its in-house Cruise Club proposition.
TTNG chief executive Gary Lewis said: “I’m delighted to be making these two key appointments. Emily has developed a great deal of experience over the past three years and delivers a robust and competent understanding of what is a portfolio of complex areas.
“Anna has extensive experience of the UK cruise industry and brings with her a wealth of knowledge of the sector having worked for many of the UK’s major cruise businesses.
“We have every confidence that in their new positions both Emily and Anna will help support our ambitious development plans for these strategically important parts of our business.”
