A forthcoming travel technology summit will examine cyber security, artificial intelligence and how digital payments are reshaping the industry.
The TTI Travel Tech Summit on 23 March will include a keynote presentation from Roberto da Re, founder of Travel Ledger, who will question where travel technology has come from and where it should be heading.
Another presentation, From Bitcoin to Bed Sheets, will examine how crypto currencies and blockchain are reshaping the hospitality sector. TTI will then look at essential tools to keep companies safe from cyber-crime and illustrate how it is possible to make financial efficiencies through data collaboration.
This will be followed by Yona Fredricks-Elekima, founder of The Takeoff Club, on how to use TikTok as a booking platform to attract Gen Z – those aged 11 to 26.
Another session from Tyrone Isitt, sales director at C-stem, will look at artificial intelligence and how cyber criminals are abusing current IT systems.
The morning will conclude with a question and answer session.
The organisers said: “TTI will demonstrate the essential tools that will keep your company safe from cyber-crime, and also illustrate how it is possible to make financial efficiencies through data collaboration.”
The event runs from 10am to 1pm at the Holiday Inn London - Regents Park and is followed by a networking lunch. Tickets for non-TTI members are £75 Plus VAT. The morning will also be streamed free via Zoom.
