Travelbag will officially open its seventh store this week, and has named the location for its eighth, which will open its doors early next month.
England rugby international Danny Care will be on hand to cut the ribbon at Travelbag’s new Cobham store in Surrey on Thursday (19 September).
Clients will be invited to join the team for cake and fizz from 11am to 4pm and pick up a goody bag, as well as enter a competition to win a holiday for two to Sri Lanka.
Its eighth store, meanwhile, will be in Harpenden, the agency has revealed. It will open on Monday 7 October ahead of an official opening on Thursday 24 October.
The two new stores follow the opening of Travelbag’s sixth, in Marlow, earlier this year. Travelbag said its aim was to "bring tailor-made travel back to the British high street’.
Zara Kitching, head of sales, said the Cobham and Harpenden openings were testament to "the ongoing success" of Travelbag’s "bricks and mortar division".
She added the business believed delivering high quality travel experiences "all starts on the high street". "The three new openings mark the continued growth of our ever-changing industry".
Andy Furlong, meanwhile, has taken up his role as Travelbag’s new managing director following confirmation of his appointment in July.
