TTG Media has announced a series of changes - including a new managing director - as it steps up its support for the travel industry as it emerges fully from the Covid years.
Sales and marketing director Matt Roclawski will become managing director of TTG Media with immediate effect, giving him full control of the commercial function of the business.
Group editor Pippa Jacks has been appointed editorial director – with overall responsibility for all content across TTG’s print, online and event output – almost 17 years since she joined the business as a graduate trainee.
TTG’s multi-award winning editor Sophie Griffiths is taking on the expanded role of editor and chief purpose officer, aiming to keep the business fully on track with our mission to promote a Smarter Better Fairer travel industry.
Meanwhile, TTG Luxury editor April Hutchinson becomes editor and publisher of the title, recognising her influence not only over TTG Luxury magazine but over the luxury travel industry at large, more than 15 years since the publication of her first edition of TTG Luxury.
Other changes include:
• Dan Heath taking on the beefed-up role of head of marketing, with marketing executive Sarah Lewington becoming marketing manager;
• Office manager Angie Jackson becoming TTG Media’s first customer success manager, with a new dedication to supporting clients;
• and regular freelance contributor Charlotte Cullinan joining the team as content writer.
The TTG commercial team also becomes the TTG partnerships team, reflecting their new drive towards working more closely with our clients on growing their businesses in 2023 and beyond.
TTG Media owner and CEO Daniel Pearce said: "With TTG Media preparing to celebrate 70 years since the first edition of the Travel Trade Gazette in March 1953, we believe this to be the most sweeping set of changes we’ve seen across the team in TTG’s history.
"Every single one of us is ready to get moving in what could be the most exciting year for the travel industry for a long time. These changes should ensure TTG is supporting travel companies like never before."
