TTG Media has scooped four prizes at the PPA Independent Publisher Awards – including Independent Publishing Company of the Year.
Other awards presented to TTG included the Diversity and Inclusion Award, Commercial Leader of the Year for managing director Matt Roclawski, and Writer of the Year for head of partner content Madeleine Barber.
The hotly-contested prizes, judged by panels of senior leaders from across the sector, were handed out at the ceremony in London on Friday (22 November) – the Oscars of the independent publishing sector.
In a year in which TTG Media achieved B Corp Certified status, the company was praised by the PPA judges for its “powerful growth, marketing innovations, commercial results, sustainability considerations, and commitments to both its audience and its staff”.
Roclawski was recognised for “a number of strengths, not only delivering commercial value to audiences and revenue internally, but also delivering team coaching and integrating ethics and values into business objectives”.
Barber, meanwhile, was praised for her “important, well-researched and personal” writing and was praised for her “ability to immerse herself within her audience”.
Daniel Pearce, TTG Media CEO, said: "It’s huge to get this sort of recognition from our peers – it validates everything TTG is aiming to achieve on our mission for Smarter, Better, Fairer travel.
"Thank you to all the judges for recognising the positive spirit of the TTG team – this is another stage on the journey both for TTG Media and for the 71-year old Travel Trade Gazette.”
