TTG has revealed the final 30 candidates making its prestigious 30 Under 30 initiative, which this year celebrates its 10th anniversary.
Supported by Tui and the ITT, the programme received more than 120 nominations and entries from across the travel and tourism industry for this year’s intake. The Class of 2022 was revealed on Monday (4 July) on the first day of TTG Fairer Travel Week (4-8 July), which will recognise the importance to travel’s future of championing youth, diversity and inclusion.
This year’s judging panel featured Tui commercial business development director Richard Sofer and ITT director of education Claire Steiner, as well as two former members of the TTG 30 Under 30 programme. Chaired by TTG Media CEO Daniel Pearce and group editor Pippa Jacks, the panel met in June to discuss the nominees and applicants, and determine a final 30.

“With the travel industry continuing to evolve as we emerge from the ravages of the Covid era, it’s the younger people that have the future in their hands," said Pearce. It was without doubt the toughest year yet to decide on the final group. I can’t wait to spend more time with this forward-thinking new TTG 30 Under 30.”
Steiner said the programme had once again attracted "some amazing future senior leaders", adding she was impressed by how much they had achieved at such an early stage of their careers."They can only go from strength to strength," she said.
Sofer added: “We are delighted to be partnering with TTG again this year for its 30 Under 30 scheme. It is a brilliant opportunity for this group of individuals to be inspired by our wonderful industry, and bring their own bright, young minds together to challenge the norms and help us grow even stronger in the post-Covid era.”
