Today we present our newest 30 Under 30 cohort, our 11th group of Tomorrow’s Travel Leaders to be honoured for their passion and brilliance since the prestigious programme was founded in 2013.
It’s become a badge of honour for the industry’s brightest young hopes – and only those who demonstrate exceptional talent and career potential are recognised.
More than 130 young people in the travel industry applied for this year’s TTG 30 Under 30, which is supported by headline partner Tui, and the ITT, and today we can reveal our final cohort of 30, which includes representatives from the industry’s biggest companies, plus independent businesses, travel agencies and start-ups.
Anyone working in travel who is under the age of 30 can apply – they either nominate themselves or can be put forward by a colleague. A judging panel convened in June to view a shortlist of 60 written entries, who all supplied a one-minute video, setting out why they deserved to make the cut.
Tui UK & Ireland commercial director Philip Iveson said: “It’s great to be welcoming such a strong cohort of young, talented people to this year’s TTG 30 Under 30. Each and every one of them has such diverse skills and talents, drawing from various sections of the travel industry. I am really looking forward to getting to know them and am excited to see fresh ideas, open-mindedness and different thinking.”
TTG Media managing director Matt Roclawski adds: "We were delighted to receive so many entries from across the industry, and it was incredibly tough to narrow down the field to just 30. The final selection has beaten off some tough competition and we look forward to an exciting year ahead as they have their time in the spotlight."
The group of Tomorrow’s Travel Leaders will be invited to a series of networking events throughout the year including dinners with inspirational speakers, plus they’ll be able to take advantage of their complimentary ITT and AWTE annual memberships.
Claire Steiner, director of education at the ITT, says: “Once again the TTG 30 under 30 initiative has identified an inspiring group of young professionals who are already making their mark. The ITT and ITT Future You are delighted to continue to support this fantastic scheme showcasing the remarkable talent that our industry continues to attract.”
In many years, the cohorts have also banded together to raise money for charity – the 2023-24 cohort raised £14,500 for Reuben’s Retreat with a 20-mile sponsored hike in the Peak District and a charity raffle at the TTG Top 50 event in Manchester.
This year’s judging panel was made up of Iveson and Roclawski plus TTG Media CEO Dan Pearce, TTG features editor Katherine Masters and two former 30 Under 30s from 2023-24 – Intrepid Travel’s Molly Cofman-Nicoresti and Finn Partners’ Ashleigh St Hill.
