Tui has relocated its Preston branch to new, larger premises in the hope of capitalising on increased footfall from old and new customers.
Situated in the heart of Preston’s retail park and only a few minutes away from the old shop, Tui said the new store would offer “a great atmosphere” due to its “modern and welcoming feel”.
Divisional sales manager Gabrielle Armitage said customers were already loving the new premises, which is staffed by a team of 10 retail agents.
The shop is open between 10am and 8pm Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm on Saturdays, and then 11am to 5pm on Sundays.
“We have 10 retail agents working in our new Preston store and they are all so excited to get to know more of our customers face to face and have the chance to book them their dream holiday,” said Armitage.
Armitage also revealed that while Preston store’s three most popular destinations are Greece, the Balearics and Turkey, the team was seeing "a real uptick" in mid- to long-haul destinations like Mexico, Egypt and Cape Verde.
"With specialist knowledge in family package holidays, luxury cruises, long-haul excursions and European city breaks, customers can be assured of expert personal service at Tui Preston," she added.
The decision to relocate Preston follows Tui UK and Ireland managing director Andrew Flintham’s vow to keep focusing on the high street and opening new stores.
