Tui has added Kenya as its latest long-haul destination, offering a beach and safari experience.
The operator’s Mombasa programme features 16 hotels on the coast. It will be offered from Heathrow from the start of this winter season.
Sample packages include seven nights at the 4T Diani Sea Lodge in Bamburi on an all-inclusive basis, from £1,120pp, departing in late November.
Tui UK and Ireland head of product Jill Thompson said: “Kenya is such a unique destination, offering customers the chance to visit untouched beaches and come face-to-face with black rhinos and red elephants on adventurous safari excursions.
“The country is home to more than 20 national parks and boasts amazing landscapes like the Great Rift Valley and the Mount Kenya mountain range.”
Tui’s Heathrow flight programme uses British Airways and Kenya Airways, which moves its Nairobi service to double daily from 29 October. Tui passengers will change in the Kenyan capital for an internal flight to Mombasa.
The operator said: "We have plans to operate from Gatwick and Manchester but nothing is confirmed at this stage."
