Tui Group reiterated its plans to “tap new markets” in its Q3 financial results announcement.
Citing its “Tui 2022” strategy programme, the group was continuing to expand globally, particularly in emerging economies “with growing middle classes”.
These include China, India, Brazil and Malaysia.
The group cited its recent agreement with Malaysia Airlines to establish its Malaysia Airlines Holidays business.
“Tui will tap these future markets through a fully digital approach via an innovative and globally scaling distribution and marketing platform, which forms the basis of Tui’s state-of-the-art IT infrastructure,” the report said.
