Tunisia has eased Covid travel rules by scrapping its quarantine requirements for non-fully vaccinated arrivals.
Passengers over the age of 18 who are either not vaccinated or yet to complete their full course of Covid inoculations will now not be subjected to five days of self-isolation.
They are required to present results of a negative PCR test (taken no more than 48 hours before entry) or rapid lateral flow test (taken no more than 24 hours before entry).
The Tunisian National Tourist Office confirmed the changes on Wednesday (1 June).
Vaccinated passengers over 18 are exempt from pre-departure testing but must present their Covid vaccination status upon arrival, while arrivals under 18 are not required to present either a negative test or proof of vaccination.
