Virgin Atlantic’s global sales vice president Lee Haslett is to leave the airline after more than 14 years.
Haslett, a TTG 30 Under 30 alumnus, will take up a “new career opportunity outside of the aviation sector”.
He joined the Virgin Holidays team in 2008, leading the operator’s retail expansion before holding various roles across the business, including head of retail and vice president product and distribution.
Juha Jarvinen, the airline’s chief commercial officer, said: “I would like to thank Lee for his tremendous contribution over the last 14 years.
"He has been instrumental in rebuilding our revenues as we recover from the pandemic, leading the sales transformation plan and he has played an important role in my commercial leadership team.
“We will be recruiting for the VP global sales role both internally and externally. Lee will be with us until the end of February 2023, and we wish him well in his future endeavours, as he moves into an exciting new opportunity in the spring.”
