Virgin Atlantic is poised to launch a new Edinburgh-Orlando route, its second at Edinburgh airport.
Twice-weekly flights to the “theme park capital of the world” in Florida will get under way on 30 March.
Virgin will operate the route on Wednesdays and Saturdays using an Airbus A330-300 aircraft.
Juha Jarvinen, Virgin Atlantic chief commercial officer, said: “We couldn’t be happier to launch our second route from our new home in Scotland, following the launch of our direct service to Barbados last year.
“Orlando is the theme park capital of the world and the heartland of Virgin Atlantic’s leisure programme."
