Virgin Hotels to open first properties outside US in Scotland
Will PayneVirgin Hotels is set to open its first premises outside of the US with new properties in Edinburgh and Glasgow.
Virgin Hotels Edinburgh is expected to open in Spring 2022 and will be located in the India Buildings in the city’s Old Town near The Royal Mile.
The new hotel will feature 225 "Chambers" and "Grand Chamber Suites" with multiple dining and drinking outlets.
Also expected to open in late Spring 2022, Virgin Hotels Glasgow will be the brand’s second Scottish hotel.
The property will be located at 236-246 Clyde Street and will feature panoramic views of the River Clyde in the centre of Glasgow’s shopping area.
It will offer 242 rooms, a meeting and event space, multiple dining and drinking locations and The Funny Library Coffee Shop.
