Wizz Air announces UK routes from new Romania base

James ChappleWizz Air has announced two UK routes from its new Bacau base, its 31st.
The budget carrier will launch daily Bacau-Luton flights and twice-weekly Bacau-Liverpool flights on 29 October.
Fares to the city, one of Romania’s oldest in the country’s Moldavia region, lead in from £21.99 (Liverpool) and £25.99 (Luton).
The routes will be operated by Airbus A320 aircraft.
Bacau’s George Enescu International airport has recently gained a new passenger terminal, air traffic control tower, and other modern airport infrastructure.
