Wizz Air achieved an 83% load factor in April as the budget carrier benefited from returning passenger numbers.
The figure is a return to a near-normal proportion of seats sold, with 3.6 million people travelling on the airline, a 564% increase on the same month last year.
Last month also saw the carrier open its base at Cardiff, with nine new routes including Egypt.
Wizz Air also acquired two daily slot pairs at Luton, enabling it to add frequencies to existing routes to Romania and Poland.
