WTH, the Chorley based cruise specialist trading as Cruise118.com, SixStarCruises and RiverVoyages.com, have raised more than £5,000 for a local children’s hospice.
The team is running, walking, swimming and cycling 2,022 miles in July in aid of Chorley’s Derian House Children’s Hospice.
More than 25 colleagues have signed up to the challenge and collectively they plan to walk 20 miles, run 30 miles, swim 10 miles and cycle 50 miles to meet their goal.
In addition, business solutions director Alex Dixon and head of business solutions Nadeem Vali will be taking on a 24-hour cycle challenge on 28 July with the aim to cycle 250 miles.
So far, thanks to customers choosing to donate £1 from their bookings to support the cause, WTH has raised more than £5,000.
Alison Earnshaw, WTH (UK) managing director, said: "At WTH we have a longstanding relationship with Derian House and this is just one way we are able to come together to support a great cause.
"As the team looks to achieve 2,022 miles equivalent to a Barcelona round-trip sailing, by running, walking, cycling and swimming it’s a testament to our business ethos of approaching a challenge with enthusiasm and pushing for excellence."
