Heritage Resorts in Mauritius is promoting its new brand positioning, inspired by the hotel group’s “natural and cultural legacy”, at WTM London.
It’s based around five main “pillars”: nature; golf; culinary art; kindness; and reconnection. The group, which is part of Rogers Hospitality, is also introducing new experiences at Heritage Le Telfair, Heritage Awali and Heritage The Residences, and rolling out a “refreshed, aspirational and responsive” website.
Veit Fuhrmeister, chief commercial officer at Rogers Hospitality, said: “Next year we will be pushing ahead with our sustainable initiatives. We will also be focusing on delivering our brand promise of creating transformative experiences for guests.
“We are blessed with an enviable location in southern Mauritius, in Bel Ombre, and will continue to promote all the diverse experiences, from its nature reserve excursions to dining, wellness activities and golf.”
Fuhrmeister has been tasked with growing Heritage’s local and international sales, as well as forging partnerships to help increase the brand’s profile.
The company’s developments include the launch of the Indian Ocean’s first Leadbetter Golf Academy at Heritage Golf Club, which is due to open La Reserve Golf Links in September 2023. It will be the region’s first contemporary links course, with panoramic views from every hole.
Heritage is also introducing a range of activities in the Bel Ombre area for families, including a treasure hunt, nature reserve excursion and golf game.
