Aleenta Resorts’ new culinary experience takes in the flavours of Chiang Mai, Phuket and Hua Hin.
Aleenta Resorts’ new Gastronomical Tour offers visitors the opportunity to explore the nuances of Thai cuisine across their three resort locations. Based in the lesser-known destinations of Phang Nga, Pranburi and on the outskirts of Chiang Mai the tour includes a two-night stay in each resort as well as an itinerary that includes cookery classes, farm tours and market forays.
At Aleenta Phuket Phang Nga Resort & Spa guests will enjoy the rich flavours of Southern Thai cuisine including a seafood feast at Krua Kruchome, a boat tour and picnic to James Bond Island, the vibrant Phang Nga Morning Market and a tasting menu at SEASONS – South of Thailand’s first vegan fine-dining restaurant. While at Aleenta Retreat Chiang Mai Northern Thailand’s Lanna cuisine is showcased with visits to Ginger Farm Kitchen and an evening motorbike street food tour. Finally, at Aleenta Hua Hin Pranburi Resort & Spa there will be time to experience the local beach street food scene and explore the resort’s 25-acre co-operative organic farm during a cooking class.
Anchalika Kijkanakorn, Founder and Managing Director of AKARYN Hotel Group, Aleenta Resorts, and akyra Hotels, says, “Food is the heart of any culture, and through a culinary tour, travellers can truly connect with the soul of a destination. Our new experience immerses travellers in Thailand’s rich cultural tapestry in a way that’s both personal and insightful as they taste and compare localised Thai flavours and cooking techniques.”
The Gastronomical Tour starts at £1,275pp for a six-nights’ accommodation and experiences.
