Audley Travel rewards VIP agents with a trip to Sri Lanka

Taking place from 26 June and 6 July, the five ‘VIP’ tier agents in Audley’s trade reward A-List scheme were selected for being the operators’ most supportive travel agent partners between 1 May 2023 to 31 March 2024.  

The reward trip itinerary included some classic Sri Lankan highlights and other bespoke experiences to inspire the select agents on the Audley way of trip planning, including:

• Sigiriya - for a feast of activities including cycling through villages, meeting the locals and sampling traditional Ayurvedic spa treatments. Plus a 12,000 step climb to the top of Sigiriya Rock to appreciate the spectacular views and impressive engineering of the temple construction
• Minneriya National Park - witnessing wild Asian elephants in their natural habitat via open top jeeps
• Kandy - via Dambulla Cave Temple, one of the oldest, preserved Buddha Temples in the world offering stunning scenery, with waterfalls, rivers, paddy fields, tea plantations, and monkeys. Plus, a tasty food tour of the city and a visit to Temple of the Tooth, overlooking the lake in Kandy to watch the local monks entering for worship
• Balapitiya - a south coast retreat for a night on the beach offering a dramatic coastal view via the Kumu Beach hotel
• Galle - exploring the stunning city with the ancient rock fortress standing proud over the ocean and cricket stadium. Inside the city walls lay a labyrinth of traditional shops, boutiques, restaurants, and tuk-tuks
