Wymara Resort + Villas provided the ideal setting for a highlight of the Caribtours and ID Travel Group during their first global gathering.
The joint event hosted by Wymara was the ideal opportunity for executives from both businesses to get to know each other better, after the US business bought a stake in Caribtours in 2022.
The group of 45 enjoyed cocktails at one of Wymara’s exclusive villas, with musical edutainment from local cultural specialist David Bowen, followed by dining beachfront at Blue Water Bistro on Grace Bay Beach.
Andrea Lowe, Director of Sales + Marketing at Wymara said “We were so pleased to be able to welcome our partners Caribtours and ID Travel Group for this exclusive cocktail and dinner. It was a great opportunity to showcase our beautiful property and meet consultants from two outstanding operators in key markets for Wymara.”
Maurice Bonham-Carter, President and CEO of ID Travel Group reported that outbound business to Wymara Resort + Villas has more than doubled in the past twelve months. “The hotel truly exceeds expectations,” he said, “with incredible room updates, superior amenities and gourmet cuisine. With the direct flights now added from the UK, I am sure we will soon see similar growth from Caribtours, ID’s renowned UK operator.”
Paul Cleary, CEO of Caribtours said “Our award-winning team was lucky enough to experience this gorgeous resort first hand. We are all now committed to promoting it in the UK luxury market – not only beautiful Wymara but Turks and Caicos in general. With four flights a week via British Airways and Virgin Atlantic there is a golden opportunity for Caribtours to introduce more of our luxury clients to this unique destination.”
