Lata member Passion Brazil, a Rio-based DMC, has reported an increase in demand for 2025 ahead of the peak booking season.
Passion Brazil works with a number of UK-based tour operators and has seen an increase of 14% in bookings when comparing 2019 to 2024.
Danny Callaghan, CEO of Lata, said: “I am delighted to see numbers for Brazil looking so positive for 2025, which is testament to the work that our members across the country are doing to promote this diverse country. With more airlines opening routes from Europe such as TAP launching a direct flight from Lisbon to Manaus, and Air France now flying direct to Salvador, it’s becoming easier to explore some of the Brazil’s highlights away from the main cities. We also expect to see further interest in the country over the coming months following the spotlight given to Brazil with the most recent Race Across the World series.”
Passion Brazil recently celebrated its 20th anniversary with a two-day party in Rio, inviting over 100 of their partners and sellers. As well as a cocktail dinner at the Belmond Copacabana Palace, guests ascended Corcovado on a private train and had a near-exclusive access to Christ the Redeemer. Lata members Latin Routes joined the celebrations as shown in the attached photographs.
