Ecuadorian DMC Metropolitan Touring has announced an exciting new promotion for 2024’s last-minute travellers.
Guests who book to explore the Galapagos onboard one of Metropolitan Touring’s mid-size expedition yachts, La Pinta or Isabela II, before 30th September to travel before 15th December, will receive complimentary return flights to the Galapagos Islands from Quito or Guayaquil, up to a value of £500 per person.
Alongside complimentary internal flights, guests can enjoy exclusive access to sought after visitor spots and delight in the marine and wildlife that call this UNESCO World Heritage site home while adventuring on one of Metropolitan Touring’s expedition yachts. La Pinta boasts some of the largest cabins in the Galapagos with floor-to-ceiling bedroom windows, holding 48 passengers, while Isabela II is the smallest of the two, with 20 cabins and up to 40 guests per sailing. Both expedition yachts are among the lowest passenger-to-guide ratio in the Galapagos, perfect for exploring the islands by hiking, kayaking, paddle boarding and snorkelling. Owing to the size of the yachts’ and carrying capacity for each national park-designated visitor site, both yachts enjoy a high ‘island exclusivity rate’, with exclusive access to visitor sites 84% of the time. Both yachts offer 4-night/5-day tours across the islands.
Back on land, guests can choose to extend their time in the Galapagos Islands and pay a visit to leading eco-hotel Finch Bay offers a peaceful sojourn in the heart of the islands, where they can discover local Galapageño culture in the nearby town of Puerto Ayora, visit the Charles Darwin Research Station, or for those feeling adventurous, swim in Las Grietas, a Volcanic creek just 20-minues from the hotel by foot.
