Neal Hussey, Senior Trade Partnerships Manager Cruise at Not Just Travel, is running 874 miles to raise money for the UK charity Rose’s Way Foundation.
Neal will be virtually completing the Lands End to John o’ Groats (LEJOG) distance of 874 miles by running 100 miles per month, every month until September. He has just finished running his 100th mile in January today.
Rose’s Way Foundation is a UK charity dedicated to supporting families of terminally ill children, and those who have experienced child bereavement.
The foundation was established in memory of Rose Elizabeth Jeans, who was born on February 11, 2019, and sadly passed away on February 13, 2020, after a brief battle with Atypical Teratoid Rhabdoid Tumour (ATRT) cancer. Inspired by Rose’s life, the foundation aims to support other families facing similar challenges.
Neal Hussey, says: “Back in 2022, as we moved out of the pandemic, I completed the Lands End to John o’ Groats distance for Roses Way Foundation. I found myself in a better physical and mental condition because of the regular exercise. I’ve run regularly ever since and found it helps keep my work-life balance on track, considering how busy things are at Not Just Travel.
“As part of my challenge I will be taking part in many scheduled events including the Reading and Southampton Half Marathons in March and April and complete the total distance by September.
“Roses Way is such an incredible charity and one that is close to my heart. The NJT team has chosen to support Rose’s Way this year and I’m looking forward to driving fundraising in 2025.”
