Quinta do Lago launches 'Olympics Challenge'

The newly launched challenge kicks off tomorrow, following tonight’s Opening Ceremony, and is designed to welcome all ages and all abilities. Challenges include aqua games, Zumba dance offs, mixed-team relay triathlons and more.

The Aqua Games is taking place on 27th July and will see competitors navigate an obstacle course in the pool, complete in aquatic athletics (including long jump, high jump and pole javelin) and attempt long distance running through water. Whereas the triathlon, set for 3rd August, includes a 100 metres swim, 1 lap of The Campus’ running track and 10 minute of cycling on the stationary bikes in the gym. Each team of three has to include one child, making it a family event. Zumba dance-offs will take place 3rd August.
