Ski Beat sales and marketing director Laura Hazell said: “Our flight inclusive ski chalet packages are selling very well this season.

"On dates when we have fewer flight seats left, we can now offer savings of around £200pp for guests who want to make their own way to the Alps to spend a week in one of our high quality, high altitude catered ski chalets.”

Independent travel options are available on many remaining dates, right up to the final departures on 12 April, when a week’s ski chalet holiday now costs from £639pp, for a week’s stay at Chalet Perdrix in La Rosiere, or £843pp with return Manchester or Gatwick flights, and transfers.

Departing on 18 January, a week’s stay in Chalet Cristal in the top resort of Val d’Isere now costs £999 with independent travel, (or £1199 with Gatwick or Manchester flights), a saving of £339 off the original flight inclusive package price of £1338 for those travelling independently.

A week’s catered stay in Chalet Perdrix in La Rosiere, departing on 18 January, now costs £899pp, with independent travel, a saving of £200pp, while a week in the heart of Paradiski, at the Chalet Sorbier in La Plagne, costs £960pp for independent travel, or £1160 with Gatwick flights (Manchester £1170pp).

All prices include a chalet host to cook, clean and cater and prepare cooked or continental breakfast, afternoon tea with freshly prepared cakes, and three course evening meals with wine. Flight inclusive packages also include transfers.

Hazell added: “Our independent travel offers are a cost effective way, for those who want to car share or reduce their carbon footprint and travel by train, to enjoy our high quality, high altitude ski chalet holidays.”
