Travel Counsellors has hosted three luxury Gold trips in just two months to reward and recognise the top selling business owners in the community.
These exclusive Gold trips took place in the Algarve, Sri Lanka, and Crete, treating more than 90 Gold leisure and corporate travel business owners and 21 support team colleagues to incredible experiences.
The first Gold Weekend of 2024 was celebrated in the Algarve, where the group stayed at the magnificent Domes Lake Resort with plenty of time for relaxation, food, drinks and fun in the sun. In Sri Lanka, the Gold Travel Counsellors were hosted at the luxurious Cape Weligama. There, they explored ancient temples and national parks, delving into the rich cultural heritage and natural beauty of the region. The most recent Gold Weekend was held at the exquisite Grecotel LUXME White Palace in Crete, where the group enjoyed pool parties and gourmet dinners in the sunshine.
These trips also mark the 20th year of the Gold programme at Travel Counsellors, coinciding with the company’s 30th anniversary. Notably, seven Gold Travel Counsellors have maintained their Gold status since the beginning.
Janine Hay, a Gold Travel Counsellor who celebrated 20 years of being Gold, commented: “I was fortunate to be on the first Gold trip of the year where we were truly spoiled by the incredible team at Domes Lake Algarve. It was lovely to spend time with my fellow colleagues and friends, and support and share in each other’s successes while also celebrating my own individual achievement of 20 years of being a Gold TC.”
"Gold Weekends" are designed as luxury getaways for Travel Counsellors’ highest-selling business owners. Currently, over 260 global Travel Counsellors have achieved Gold status, underscoring their excellence in the travel industry.
The recent Gold Weekend trips were sponsored by Regent Seven Seas, Oceania, Cunard, Celebrity Cruises, Intrepid Travel, Riviera Travel, Columbus Tours, Flexible Autos, Air Charter Service, Scenic Cruises, Emerald Cruises and Cosmos.
