To celebrate a decade of taste and exceptional hospitality on Lake Como, Villa Làrio has entrusted Chef Davide Maci with creating a new gastronomic experience. Chef Maci’s vision embodies the essence of Italian tradition, promoting a philosophy rooted in authentic flavours and the art of fine dining.

 

In October, Chef Maci launched a seasonal menu that pays homage to the finest ingredients of the Italian autumn. Highlighting the freshness and quality of seasonal products, it is a true celebration of Italy’s rich culinary heritage.

 

At the heart of the celebrations is the exclusive 10th Anniversary Tasting Menu. This special offering reflects Villa Làrio’s journey over the past decade, with a series of iconic dishes marking key milestones in Chef Maci’s distinguished career. More than just a meal, it is a sensory experience, blending the villa’s luxurious ambiance with the chef’s refined vision.

 

Continuing the celebrations, Villa Làrio introduced a new Sunday Brunch in November 2024. Inspired by Italy’s tradition of long, leisurely Sunday lunches, this brunch is about gathering with loved ones over hearty, familiar dishes. Guests can enjoy comforting classics such as roasted chicken or beef carved tableside, alongside a spread that evokes the warmth of an Italian family meal. The final brunch of the year on 29th December will feature a live DJ, bringing a festive close to the season.

 

Earlier this year, Chef Maci made a triumphant return to Lake Como, rejoining his roots after years away. Now the Executive Chef at Villa Làrio, a luxurious estate in Pognana Làrio, he brings over decades of experience in Europe’s top restaurants, including Sketch in London and Gordon Ramsay’s Trianon Palace in Versailles.

 

At Villa Làrio’s Villa Bianca restaurant, Chef Maci’s "light, essential, and modern" approach shines. His dishes reflect Italian cuisine’s heart and soul, emphasizing simplicity and the purity of raw materials. Head of Brand Flore Pilzer describes the new chapter as "a destination uniting the warmth of home, Italian design, breathtaking views, and refined yet uncomplicated cuisine.
