Renowned for its thought-leading, progressive and carefully considered content on DEI, the preliminary programme for IWTTF (International Women in Travel and Tourism Forum) on 27 June has been released.

Conceived by Women in Travel CIC MD and Founder Alessandra Alonso and helmed by industry figure and DEI champion Jo Rzymowksa as MC, this year’s event will explore a range of today’s most pertinent issues, from debunking myths around accessible travel to celebrating midlife, diversifying product, community tourism and the importance of inclusive leadership and allyship.

Darrell Wade, Co-Founder of IWTTF’s Founding Sponsor Intrepid Travel, has already been announced as a speaker alongside EMEA MD Zina Bencheikh. They will be joined by representatives from the BBC, WeTravel, TourRadar, TUI, Small Luxury Hotels of the World, Limitless Travel, DiamondAir and more, with the programme continuing to evolve.

Generational and gender balance specialist Avivah Wittenberg-Cox will deliver the keynote. A regular contributor to Forbes and the Harvard Business Review, and a TED speaker, Aviva has advised CEOs and leadership teams across more than 40 countries on gender, longevity and culture.

Alonso commented: “Gender equity will always be at the heart of what we discuss and campaign for, reflected in Aviva as keynote speaker. But, as ever, our programme is about DEI in all its forms, and delegates can expect variety and to be informed, inspired and moved by the storytelling and conversations planned.”

The IWTTF forum day is preceded by the IWTTF Awards on 26 June. The first batch of tickets for both go on sale today, and are expected to sell out. Further tickets will be released in the coming weeks. Surplus proceeds go towards funding Women in Travel CIC’s mission to connect women from underserved backgrounds with employment and enterprising opportunities in travel and tourism.

IWTTF sponsors include Intrepid, Google, Expedia, Tourradar, Eurail, Visit Malta, DiamondAir International, Grant Thornton, Manchester Airport Group, Contiki, BlueSoup, Atkin Jones, Georgian House, Weeva and WeTravel.
