TTG Media has become one of the first B2B media companies in the UK to gain B Corp status.
The accolade, which follows a rigorous assessment process taking place throughout most of 2023, means TTG Media joins a global community of businesses that meet high standards of social and environmental impact.
Through its assessment via B Lab, the company has demonstrated its commitment to making a positive influence across the five key pillars of social impact: environment; customers; workers; community; and governance.
The announcement brings to a close a special year for TTG, one that saw the brand in March celebrate 70 years since the publication of the first edition of the Travel Trade Gazette, as well as 10 years since the formation of the independently owned TTG Media.
TTG Media CEO and owner Daniel Pearce said: “TTG has long placed the social impact of travel at the core of what we do, which led us to define our mission to promote Smarter, Better, Fairer travel in 2019.
“Applying for B Corp status was the logical next step, and the TTG Media team are delighted to now see the company achieve this status. With the business now B Corp Certified, we believe it gives us a new platform on which to demonstrate not only that TTG is a force for good – but that the travel industry is too.”
