Agiito has enjoyed significant technology wins in the last year, including rolling out live availability on its Meetingspro platform, enabling event organisers to book venues for small events in real time, and freeing up the Meetingspro team to focus on larger events.
A new customer app and virtual card payment facility have both been well received, and 75% of all clients’ travel is now booked online. Strong customer satisfaction scores and a client retention rate of 99%, meanwhile, speak to the level of service provided.
Agiito invests in its people through a dedicated L&D team, which has devised an e-learning platform and created an “Ultimate Guide to Being A” to foster a consultative selling style. Several colleagues have also worked towards professional qualifications in their fields such as accounting or marketing, to further their expertise.
From bringing in external trainers on wellbeing, mental health and neurodiversity to introducing sunflower lanyards and partnering with EventWell to offer quiet spaces at events – both internal and for clients – there is an impressive focus on diversity and inclusion, enabling every colleague to achieve their potential at Agiito.
Sustainability is taken equally seriously, with the company reducing its carbon footprint by 78% between 2019 and 2021, and a goal of becoming carbon neutral by 2035. An internal “Sustainability Showcase” led to 22 colleagues signing up to join a sustainability team, and a raft of charitable endeavours have included nearly 500 hours of volunteering across the team, and raising the best part of £10,000 for Macmillan.
Agiito has also built upon its already-sophisticated carbon reporting for clients by partnering with an analytics platform which gives travel managers visibility of each traveller’s spend, carbon footprint and travel-related wellbeing, so they can benchmark and encourage behavioural change.
This market-leading focus on technology, talent and doing the right thing have put Agiito well on track to recover its 2019 turnover this year – and the TMC has won £43.8million in new business in 2022 alone.
