Founded in 2017, this Worcester-based agency has gone from strength to strength in the last five years, with general manager Jennifer Lynch at the helm.
Weddings and honeymoons have blossomed and now account for 25% of the business – Mauritius and Dubai are the top-sellers, followed by the Maldives and Greece. Weddings and honeymoon consultations take place in the VIP suite of this 16th-century building, where prosecco, teas and coffees are offered. Couples can make use of the agency’s bespoke gift voucher service with their booking.
Once booked, they are in the capable hands of after-sales concierge Judith Clarke. This year, couples have been gifted bespoke luggage tags, and those who book from a wedding fair receive doughnuts from a local supplier. Adding lounge passes is standard, and the team love to surprise their couples with something unexpected like wine tasting in their destination. Clients are all sent a thank you email on their return home with a link
to a feedback survey.
An updated honeymoon section on the ArrangeMy Escape website shouts about the team’s expertise, which includes same-sex marriages and honeymoons. LGBTQ+ couples can be assured of a warm welcome – ArrangeMy Escape was a headline sponsor of Worcester Pride 2022.
In the last year, the team have attended 18 wedding fairs, generating more than 1,300 new contacts and two-thirds of the agency’s weddings and honeymoons bookings. A competition to win a mini moon in Somerset was promoted among these contacts. As well as appearing on local radio and advertising in Your West Midlands Wedding magazine, the team have embraced TikTok, creating their own 60 seconds with… interviews with suppliers to inform about destinations.
Working with Trees4travel is another new partnership – every wedding and honeymoon couple receives a gifted tree, planted for them in a developing country, which they can follow and watch grow. And with many honeymooners now choosing to cruise,
the team also donate a percentage of cruise sales to the Sea-Changers marine conservation charity.
