Last year, that saw assistant manager Danielle create a PowerPoint slideshow with just two hours’ notice, to help surprise a customer’s son about a dream trip to Japan for his 21st birthday, which was presented to him in-store complete with confetti canon.
The team have also been working cleverly with social media influencers to raise the agency’s profile, and organised and hosted their first travel show, both of which have helped win new customers for the store.
Michael – who was named Community Hero 2023 at the TTG Top 50 Travel Agencies – always has one eye on how the agency can give back to the local community, and the store supported Pride month last July, giving a donation for every booking to an LGBT+ charity, and runs a variety of in-store fundraisers and collections.
