As well as arranging holidays, the team have been known to look after clients’ dogs, while assistant manager Jamie learnt basic sign language to help communicate with a deaf customer. Drawing on his degree in environmental sciences, he has also instigated numerous sustainability-focused changes at the agency, reducing paper usage and talking to clients about the small swaps that can make their trips better for the planet. Plus, the team have raised more than £1,000 for charity through a sponsored abseil and a Christmas raffle and cake sale in their branch. When it comes to social media, you’ll frequently see the team starring in TikTok videos using the latest trending filter or music, or carefully curating posts for their impressive number of Facebook followers. The Hays Travel Romsey team love their work, and in their highly supportive environment the colleagues have become close friends. It’s no surprise that sales are soaring at this busy agency, and earlier this year the team moved next door into larger, newly refurbished premises, having outgrown their former store.
