Kelly Tolerton, accounts manager, Oasis Travel

Team members described Kelly, or “KT” as she is affectionately known, as “undoubtedly the backbone of the Oasis Travel family”.

She started working at the Northern Irish agency group in 2017, and her day-to-day roles include bank reconciliation, managing supplier relationships and helping maintain office standards. However, her role extends far beyond the traditional. Kelly has been a key figure in inspiring the next generation of Oasis travel professionals, and as an advocate of emotional wellbeing she has volunteered and undergone mental health awareness training.

Kelly is also actively involved in driving charity efforts, recently helping to raise more than £9,550 for Pancreatic Cancer NI in memory of Gary Corkin, her beloved colleague and company financial director. Meanwhile, she can always be relied upon to walk Pepe, Oasis’s office dog and Chief Morale Officer.

Whether it’s to lend an ear, give advice or be a friend, Kelly is always there. “Her joy and spirit around the office is infectious,” says one colleague, while another enthuses: “Having Kelly as a friend and co-worker is simply the best.”
